Welcome to The Friends of Frederick E Samuel Foundation
The Friends of Frederick E. Samuel Foundation is a 501 C3 not-for-profit organization which promotes high school and junior high school girl's basketball, especially as a tool for college scholarship. Numerous girls who participated in our program have also played college ball, some even in the WNBA, graduated college, and/or are working adults today. This program was the dream of Clyde Frazier Jr., who was lost in the World Trade Center attacks.

2013 Summer Tournament
The Friends of Frederick E Samuel Foundation Inc. is pleased we were able to run another successful tournament. We know we could never pull it off without the support of the families of our athletes. So this year for the first time we had a mother-daughter game, as well as our first all-star game since we started the junior high school format. See photo below of Executive Director Clyde Frazier, Sr. with the mothers who played against their daughters.
Some of the family and friends that came out to support the players by attending one of the games.

If you'd like to support the tournament financially, checks or money orders (made out to Friends of Frederick E Samuel Foundation) can be mailed to:
